I joined Fayette Early Learning Academy as the Program Director in 2016  assuming all theday to day responsibilities; creating a loving, stable, and fun learning enviroment. 

I have over 24 years of experience early childhood education and possess a great and unparalleled passion and drive to change the face of education. I am a devoted Christian, wife, and mother dedicated to cultivating your child’s abilities to achieve social, emotional, and academic success.

Professionally, I received my B.S. Degree in Child Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and a double Master’s degree in Special Needs and Early Literacy, including two ESOL endorsements in 2008 followed by a Ed.D in Nuerodivergent diagnosises in adolescents (2013) with a dual specialization in special needs (Autism, Asperger's, ADD, ADHD, Tourette's(verbal & non-verbal) Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Disregulative Mood Disorder); Positive Behavior Support certifition, and a double minors in managing challenging behaviors and curriculum development.

Personally, I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida.  I live a God first life and actively participate in my church. Although my personal views are not imposed others, I believe that through my relationship with Christ, I go above and beyond to treat every child with respect, love, and kindness, while ensuring that every child feels valued and appreciated- which goes a long way.  Children are natural born learners and want to please.  They go above and beyond when they know that regardless of how small they are, they are loved and appreciated.  I never stop learning- every day brings new challenges and new opportunities.  Children can be our greatest teachers!

My goal is to provide a structured, yet warm and loving learning environment that your child will always look forward to being a part of.  I hope to motivate and inspire staff, children, and their families so that they know that they are someone special and utilize each day as an educational journey of learning, sharing, and communicating.  I welcome you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
