She holds a Master's in Higher Education with a specialization in Administration and Leadership from Kaplan University, along with a Bachelor's in English from Clark Atlanta University. With over 15 years in the field, her experience includes serving as Site Director at Our House Early Learning Center, where she ensured high-quality program implementation, maintained compliance with NAEYC, Quality Rated, Bright from the Start, and Head Start standards, and supported staff growth through coaching and professional development. Previously, she was Director at Living Faith Christian Academy, Assistant Director and Curriculum Specialist at SOECA Preparatory (where she developed a COVID-19 Guidance Manual), and held key roles in teaching, program coordination, and mentoring at organizations like Sheltering Arms, Marist School, and Hands on Atlanta. Ms. Joi is certified in ECE Directorship and holds multiple Bright from the Start certifications in child safety, family strengthening, and developmental screenings. She's also skilled in tools like ProCare, which will help us continue delivering top-notch experiences for our children.
